Battery-Powered Cars (Grade 5 Projects)
Many of these cars were made using parts purchased from Science Is..., along with a whole lot of imagination and generous use of recycled materials. Some of the cars have "remote control" switches that the students made themselves, to turn them on and off from a distance. Note: These are NOT radio remote controls, but merely a switch held in the hand and connected to the car by wires to carry the electric current.
